The Sewers - Bark and Volcanus

Volcanus shoots an energy beam toward the whelp with more life as well, in order to make things a bit easier. The whelp with less health seems distracted anyway.

Quickly, in succession, the whelp with the spear-wound didnt have much choice but to take the energy blast. He turned just in time to take it to the face, and once again it barked angrily as it turned towards Volcanus. (15 Damage)


Infinity Whelp 1 (20/75)


The whelp who looked at Volcanus, with his gaping "rib-hole" charged forward, attempting to hit him, but with Longinous nearby, he had no such luck, and struck him instead. (15 Damage)

Nearby, the whelp that was almost eaten by Bark took this opportunity in time to throw another breath of fire at him, splashing his chest with blue flames. The whelp, still injured, stayed on the ground, it's stomach wound expanding and gushing blood. (9 Damage)


Longinous (43/100)

Bark (34/90)

Bar k attacks one of the whelps, because he apparently has to.

Bark lunges for the dragon that had been breathing fire on him for the past few minutes and then decidedly takes it out with a swift kick to the abdomen. The dragon flies across the long room and then hits the wall on the far side, dying as it does so. It slides down the wall and it's body is lost in the murky waters of the sewer. (20 Damage)

Longinous stabs at the remaining whelp.

Longinous takes aim and rushes the dragon, stabbing it in the chest, nearly missing it's heart but doing a lot of damage (15 damage)



Infinity Whelp 1 (5/75)

Volcanus shoots an energy ball at the whelp.

The energy ball hits the spot where Longinous had punctured the dragon before, scarring it's black body and sending it backwards some, killing it. (15 damage)




BATTLE END


40 Zeni left behind by the two whelps are left behind.

There is the exit back the way they came, and a staircase leading forwards.

Volcanus once again throws half the money at Bark.

Volcanus: "While it's good to move on, I can't help but think we should explore the other direction..."
Longinous: "Are you sure my lord?"
Volcanus: "I believe so."

Seeing how Bark has betrayed his own "companions" he licks Longinous for forgiveness.

Longinous seems disturbed by this action, backing away from Bark. He also seems extremely offended. With no counter arguments though, Volcanus and Longinous begin walking back to take the left path.

Hopefull this worked. Bark continue following the other idiots. With the smell of adventure in his spleen.

Walking back to the other room, they find it very similar to the last one - empty tents and devoid of life. This time, however, there were infinity whelplings littering the floor, dead.

On the left side of the room there are intricate markings and patterns which indicate some sort of chest being under the muck-filled water. It would take some intelligence to figure that one out, however. [Intelligence 3 Required]

There are two exits in this rectangular room, the one which will lead a bad way, and the way they came from, which will lead on.

BARK USED INTELEGENCE!

*Intelligence Failed. Not Enough*

Volcanus looked upon the dead whelps. Eh... this was a good sign he supposed. However he did notice the patters on the walls. He used his intelligence to try and decider what they were leading to.

Volcanus: I think there's something within the water...
Longinous: Oh?
Volcanus: From what I can tell, yes.

Longinous moves to the water, reaching within to find what was down there. He felt the chest, pulling it out of the murky water.

The chest is pulled out quickly.

Upon opening it, Volcanus finds 100 Zeni.

Volcanus once again throws half at Bark. He then looks toward the newest pathway. It seemed... dangerious, especially with all these dead whelps in the room.

Volcanus: Let's go back.
Longinous: Yes my lord.
Volcanus: We'll take the right path again and continue on from that path.

Volcanus and Longinous begin heading back, to take the right path, and then to go through the continuing stairway there.

After a long while of a narrow corridor, they finally reached another room. Once again, this room was twice as large as the one before it, except circular.

Except this room had quite a grisly sight - bodies. Dozens of them. They appeared human, except most of them had burn wounds, chunks of flesh bitten out of them or otherwise, leading the heroes to believe that Infinity Dragons have been here. By the way the bodies lay, it was obvious that they attempted to escape the sewer, but were stopped short here.

There's an exit on the far side of the chamber.

Also, there appears to be a fountain that seems untouched, inviting even. It spews healthy looking water.

Volcanus immediatly looks to the water. It seemed inviting.
Volcanus: "... It has been a while since I've had anything to drink..."
Volcanus walks to the fountain and takes a drink. Longinous also drinks of the fountain.

* Volcanus and Longinous regain all of their health and power/mana. *

Ignoring the fountain. Bark (Attempts) eats the remains of the body that were on the ground.

Also he remembers the TIME WALRUS.

He speaks to the other idiots


"That thing has to be around here somewhere."

HE also attempts to drink from that fountain, while simultaneously trying to push them inside of it.

* Bark eats some of the humanoid figures on the ground. This does nothing for him, but his moral alignment begins to drop. Doing it more will result in it dropping to evil, and good characters may stop interacting with him. *

* On a good note, his health and power are restored. *

Volcanus and Longinous move out of Bark's way as he drinks. His actions earlier weren't settling well with Longinous, however Volcanus doesn't seem affected by it.

Volcanus: Let's get out of here now.
*Volcanus begins to walk toward the exit, followed by Longinous.*
